TechSparks Connect Pitchfest 2019

By Jennifer Chang

Since 2013, TechSparks has been hosting events to bring together the local startup ecosystem to spark new ventures and collaborations. Our events bring together entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, and early adopters to share ideas and beer. In 2014, TechSparks was one of the first Innovate Pasadena Collaborators to participate in the first ever Connect Week, a week of events and festivities to connect the local innovation ecosystem. While it's a lot of work to put together these events, we're proud of the community we've built and to see Connect Week get better and bigger every year we do it.

Our most recent event, the TechSparks Connect Pitchfest, brought out over 80 attendees from across the Los Angeles area. We had over 40 companies apply to pitch, and ultimately selected 7 startups to showcase. We had 4 early-stage investors participated in the judging. The entire event was made possible thanks to our team at TechSparks, along with our service provider sponsors - TroyGould Attorneys and The1stMovement Digital Agency.
